Chef's Knife

I've finally bought my first grown-up up knife. An 8-inch chef's knife from Lakeland.

It's still in the box! I'm afraid to use it - especially after seeing Gordon Ramsay badly cut himself on the Ellen Show.

Miso Noodle Bar

On Saturday, I went to The Miso Noodle Bar in Bromley. I had my favourite meal there - Sweet and Sour Chicken with Egg Fried Rice, accompanied by Raw Salad. Their salad is delicious - three kinds of lettuce with red and white onion, red pepper, cucumber and tomato, with Caesar dressing. I'm not a salad person, but this was yummy!

Sweet and Sour Chicken

The sweet and sour chicken was divine with plenty of pineapple, crispy batter on the chicken and a delicious sweet, fruity sauce.

This rounded off a lovely afternoon of shopping during which I bought The Hairy Bikers' Asian Adventure which contains the recipes from their recent TV series.
